Harlan County had lost three straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 5-13-1 to make it four. They fell 8-3 to the Harlan Green Dragons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on Monday.

Harlan County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesse Gilbert, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

As for Harlan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games.

On Harlan's side, Eli Freyer was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jake Brewer, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Coming up, Harlan County will face off against Whitley County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harlan, they will take on Leslie County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
