Webber came tearing into Tuesday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish with a sharp 8-1 victory. Considering the Tigers have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Addison Dillenbeck, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and one stolen base. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alexa Robinson, who went 2-for-5 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Webber's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Notre Dame, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Webber wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Royalton-Hartland on the 14th. Notre Dame has also already played their next matchup (against Kendall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
