Basketball Game Preview: Sterlington Panthers vs. Albany Hornets

The Sterlington Panthers will face off against the Albany Hornets on Monday. Sterlington will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.

Sterlington is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past South Beauregard 59-27. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

North Vermilion typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Albany proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 44-37. The victory was nothing new for the Hornets as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Sterlington's win bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Albany, their victory bumped their record up to 25-11.

Sterlington came up short against Albany when the teams last played back in December of 2015, falling 53-40. Can Sterlington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
