Minden has gone 8-2 against North DeSoto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Minden Crimson Tide will head out on the road to face off against the North DeSoto Griffins at 7:30 p.m. Minden knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully North DeSoto likes a good challenge.

Last Tuesday, Minden was fully in charge, breezing past Loyola College Prep 68-33. The Crimson Tide have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, North DeSoto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 67-27 defeat at the hands of Booker T. Washington-Shreveport. The contest marked the Griffins' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Minden pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30 points. As for North DeSoto, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Everything came up roses for Minden against North DeSoto when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 75-38 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Minden since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
