Football Recap: Deridder Skates Past Washington-Marion with Ease + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask DeRidder). They claimed a resounding 48-16 victory over the Washington-Marion Charging Indians. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-8.

DeRidder didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ayren Woods and Arick Hall. Hall is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last 19 games he's played dating back to last season.

Although Washington-Marion took the loss, they still got scores from Braylon Hardy and Rlon Porter.

The win made it two in a row for DeRidder and bumps their season record up to 5-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.5 points over those games. As for Washington-Marion, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
