Baseball Game Preview: San Francisco Waldorf Wolverines vs. Marin Academy Wildcats

San Francisco Waldorf is leaving town to face Marin Academy after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. San Francisco Waldorf lost 18-12 to San Domenico on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Marin Academy got the win against Richmond on Tuesday by a conclusive 15-2.

Brady Stewart was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Stewart was even better at the plate, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

In other batting news, Daniel Puente was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Alex King, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
