Recap: Creek Valley Storm vs. Dundy County-Stratton Tigers
The Creek Valley Storm had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a serious blow against Dundy County-Stratton, falling 55-22. Creek Valley lost against Dundy County-Stratton in their previous head to head back in February of 2016, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 70-28 score last time.
Ella Whiting was Creek Valley's leading scorer, having posted 12 points. Whiting also led the team in rebounds with eight.
Anna Speirs took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Creek Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Dundy County-Stratton, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Creek Valley will head out on the road to face off against Arthur County on Tuesday. As for Dundy County-Stratton, they will take on Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
