Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Robbinsville couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the South Stokes Sauras by a score of 7-5 on Friday. The Black Knights' defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Suri Watty made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Robbinsville's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for South Stokes, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-8.

Robbinsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Stokes, they will challenge Swain County on Tuesday. The Maroon Devils will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Sauras surely won't give up without a fight.
