Volleyball Recap: Bassett Takes a Loss

Bassett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the West Covina Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Olympians have suffered since August 22nd.

Bassett's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for West Covina, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-10.

Bassett and West Covina will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Olympians will face off against rival Edgewood at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, West Covina is set to square off against their familiar foe Charter Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
