Baseball Recap: Wallington Comes Up Short

Wallington lost against Garfield back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boilermakers. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wallington's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Garfield, their victory bumped their record up to 2-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wallington is set to challenge their familiar foe Hasbrouck Heights at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Garfield will square off against rival Wood-Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
