Softball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Flour Bluff on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 6-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-1 back in March.

King has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season. As for Flour Bluff, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

As of now, neither King nor Flour Bluff have any future games scheduled.
