Softball Game Preview: Yreka Miners vs. Anderson Cubs

Yreka is on a six-game streak of home losses, and Anderson a 14-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Yreka Miners will be playing at home against the Anderson Cubs at 4:30 p.m. Yreka has given up an average of 10 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Yreka managed to slip by Eagle Point the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Miners lost 11-2 to the Eagles on Wednesday.

Emmie Freitas was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.

Anderson played against Yreka on Tuesday and lost via forfeit.
