Basketball Recap: Red Cloud Comes Up Short

Red Cloud lost against Silver Lake back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The matchup between the Red Cloud Warriors and the Silver Lake Mustangs didn't end well, with the Red Cloud Warriors falling 62-45.

Despite the loss, Red Cloud still got an impressive performance from Mason Bolin, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Conner Rust also deserves some recognition as he posted his first blocks of the season.

Red Cloud's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Silver Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Coming up, Red Cloud will be playing at home against Kenesaw at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kenesaw is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.7 points per game this season. As for Silver Lake, they will head out to face off against Giltner at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
