While Albany's win against St. Patrick-St. Vincent wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Bruins 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since April 18, 2024.

Sara Snyder was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March of 2024. Lauren Jones was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Snyder wasn't the only one making solid contact: Albany kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. The Cougars are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Albany's record is now 6-8. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Coming up, Albany will host Hercules at 4:15 p.m. on the 23rd. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, they will take on De Anza at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bruins are facing the Dons at the right time seeing as the Dons are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
