Basketball Recap: Kimberly Gets the Win

Kimberly posted their closest victory since November 13, 2023 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Weiser Wolverines, sneaking past 53-50. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 51-34 win the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Kimberly has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Weiser, the loss snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 9-1 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kimberly will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Jerome on January 7, 2025. Weiser also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Payette at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
