Football Recap: Peters Township Picks Up 13th Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Peters Township had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 20-19 win over the Pine-Richland Rams. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Indians were down 19-0 in the second quarter.

Cole Neupaver had a dynamite game, rushing for 87 yards and three TDs. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024.

Pine-Richland's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was JAY TIMMONS, who rushed for 74 yards and one score, and also picked up 42 receiving yards. TIMMONS also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making two total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending one pass.

The win keeps Peters Township at an undefeated 13-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.8 points on average this season. As for Pine-Richland, the defeat snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 11-2 record.
