Basketball Recap: Kingsville Beats Otterville for Their Tenth Straight Victory

Kingsville entered their tilt with Otterville on Wednesday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They strolled past the Otterville Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 51-35. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Eagles are ranked 432nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kingsville pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Otterville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kingsville won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
