Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Pirates are ranked 223rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, KIPP Legacy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 61-48 to Belton.

KIPP Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Raymore-Peculiar, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
