Baseball Game Preview: Classical Purple vs. Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers

The Classical Purple will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Classical comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Classical will face Juanita Sanchez Complex after dropping another heartbreaker against Mt. Pleasant on Thursday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within 2.1 of beating them. The Purple came up short against the Kilties, falling 12-2.

Classical saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominic Mazza, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Meanwhile, Juanita Sanchez Complex came up short against Tiverton on Thursday and fell 9-4.

Classical's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Juanita Sanchez Complex, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Classical couldn't quite get it done against Juanita Sanchez Complex when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 7-2. Can the Purple avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
