On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Diego Baron, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel Parilli, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Cypress Bay's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Union County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.
