Baseball Recap: Riverton Comes Up Short

Riverton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the St. Mary's-Colgan Panthers, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on Thursday.

Riverton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13-1. As for St. Mary's-Colgan, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-6.

Riverton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Mary's-Colgan, they will challenge Fort Scott on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 4.1, the Tigers 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
