Football Recap: Oswego East Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory + How To Watch

Oswego East put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 21-9 win over the Plainfield North Tigers. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 20-14 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Oswego East's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jasiah Watson, who rushed for 139 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. Those 139 rushing yards gave Watson a new career-high. Noah Deist was in the mix too, providing Oswego East with two TDs.

Oswego East's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Plainfield North, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Oswego East and Plainfield North should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Wolves (ranked 107th) will meet Joliet Central (ranked 476th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Plainfield North will challenge Romeoville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (90 vs. 342).
