There's no place like home for East Rutherford, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let the Polk County Wolverines get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

East Rutherford has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Polk County, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-11.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: East Rutherford beat the Wolverines by a score of 11-2 on Thursday.
