Softball Recap: Thursday's Defeat Ends Logan's Winning Streak

Thursday just wasn't the day for Logan's offense. They lost 6-0 to the Bear River Bears on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Grizzlies' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cambree Cooper spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks.

The defeat snapped Logan's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-7 record. As for Bear River, they pushed their record up to 17-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road.
