They blew past Northside Christian School, posting a 61-31 victory at home. This was payback for Hawthorne Christian Academy, who suffered a 58-41 loss the last time these two teams met.
Hawthorne Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jonathan Reed led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and 27 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Shane Eisert, who scored nine points along with five steals.
The victory got Hawthorne Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Northside Christian School, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
