Clinton entered their tilt with Chester on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cyclones a 10-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-0 last Tuesday.

Clinton's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Chester, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.

Coming up, Clinton will square off against Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clinton is facing Columbia at the right time seeing as Columbia is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Chester, they will face off against Mid-Carolina at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chester will need to watch out since Mid-Carolina has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
