Soccer Recap: St. Margaret's Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Margaret had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over the St. Monica Mariners. The Tartans' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last nine games.

St. Margaret's has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. With the loss, St. Monica broke their 15-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-4.

Coming up, St. Margaret's will be playing in front of their home fans against Classical Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Classical Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something St. Margaret's surely won't give up without a fight. St. Monica does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
