Northridge won the last time they faced Lakewood and things went their way on Saturday too. The Northridge Vikings snuck past the Lakewood Lancers with a 57-51 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.

Northridge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ruby Cermak, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Cora Hill, who posted ten points along with five boards and five steals.

Northridge now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Lakewood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northridge will take on Watkins Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakewood, they will face off against Licking Heights at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
