Basketball Recap: Phil Campbell Has No Trouble Against Shoals Christian

Phil Campbell posted their biggest victory since November 19th on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 72-50 margin over the Shoals Christian Flame. For the Bobcats, this counts as revenge for the 51-49 win the Flame walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.

Phil Campbell's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8. As for Shoals Christian, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Phil Campbell will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mars Hill Bible at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Shoals Christian and Sulligent will round out the year against one another at at 4:40 p.m. on Thursday.
