Baseball Game Preview: Tygarts Valley Bulldogs vs. Harman Panthers

The Tygarts Valley Bulldogs will challenge the Harman Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tygarts Valley has seven straight wins, Harman has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Tygarts Valley's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Tucker County with a sharp 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won nine matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Kaden Moore made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Moore wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Austin Teter, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Harman came up short against Hundred last Tuesday and fell 8-4.

Harman's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Tygarts Valley, their win bumped their record up to 16-7.
