Softball Recap: San Juan Comes Up Short

San Juan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 11-8 to the Emery Spartans. The Broncos were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Morgann Mcpherson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since March 4th. Another player making a difference was Madden Perkins, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

San Juan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Emery, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

San Juan has already played their next contest, a 14-12 loss against Carbon on the 29th. As for Emery, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-2 defeat against Beaver on the 29th.
