Cameron Mailloux Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Thursday, Mountain Ridge got the W thanks in part to Cameron Mailloux playing the best football she has all season. Mailloux rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, and also threw for 245 yards and two touchdowns. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (101.7). The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in rushing yards.
Mountain Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Mailloux and Mountain Ridge will square off against Tolleson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Boulder Creek Comes Up Short Despite Huge Game from Underclassman Alice Betts
It was an underclassman who stole the show on Thursday as Alice Betts came into the matchup on a mission. She was excellent, making 12 total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception. Thanks to that strong showing, she's now averaging 5.3 total tackles per game.
Boulder Creek is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Betts and Boulder Creek will stay at home for another week and welcome Valley Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
