Soccer Recap: Mansfield Legacy Takes a Loss

If Mansfield Legacy was feeling good fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Crowley last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mansfield Legacy Broncos took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Ridge Eagles on Tuesday. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Mansfield Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-3. As for Lake Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season.

Mansfield Legacy and Lake Ridge should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Mansfield Legacy will face off against North Crowley at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th up 273 places (97 vs. 370). Mansfield Legacy is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Similarly, Lake Ridge (ranked 67th) will meet Boswell (ranked 380th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
