Basketball Recap: Goshen Takes a Loss

Goshen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 60-53 to the Batavia Bulldogs. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Warriors came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 196th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 445th).

Goshen's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Batavia, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

When Goshen and Batavia next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Goshen will face off against Harrison and their 12-game winning streak at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Batavia will try to stop Fayetteville-Perry's 13-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
