Volleyball Game Preview: Grayslake Central Rams vs. Carmel Corsairs

The Grayslake Central Rams will venture away from home to take on the Carmel Corsairs at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Grayslake Central came up short against Mundelein and fell 2-0. Considering the last time the Rams couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Carmel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Marist.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13.

This is the second loss in a row for Grayslake Central and nudges their season record down to 26-7. As for Carmel, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-27.

Grayslake Central beat Carmel 2-0 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Corsairs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
