The Beaver Bobcats will take on the Deer Lakes Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Beaver is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 26.7 points per game this season.

On Friday, Beaver was fully in charge, breezing past McGuffey 42-6. With the Bobcats ahead 35-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Beaver's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jonah Justice led the charge by rushing for 95 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Scales, who rushed for 42 yards and three TDs.

Meanwhile, Deer Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 35-0 defeat at the hands of Highlands. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Lancers were not able to get on the board.

Beaver's win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.2 points over those games. As for Deer Lakes, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

Everything came up roses for Beaver against Deer Lakes when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 42-0 win. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Lancers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
