Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gibson County). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Clarksburg Rockets 77-34. Winning may never get old, but the Pioneers sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Gibson County's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Clarksburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Gibson County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 66-17 win against West Carroll on the 28th. As for Clarksburg, they will head out on the road to square off against Greenfield at 6:00 a.m. on January 6th.
