Hays waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Iowa Colony Pioneers.

Hays was led to victory by Olivia Conway and Brianna Rodriguez. Conway had nine digs and three aces, while Rodriguez had two aces. That's the most aces Rodriguez has posted over her last 11 matchups.

They weren't the only good server: Hays was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in five consecutive contests.

Hays' win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Iowa Colony, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.
