GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - 
Christian (Grand Rapids, Mich.) took the final lead of the game on Saturday as 
Joel Schipper kicked a field goal with 11:00 left, bringing the team to victory over 
St. Mary Prep (Orchard Lake, Mich.) 40-37.
After trailing 20-14 at the half, the Eaglets went ahead on a field goal by Schipper with under a minute left in the fourth.
Christian saw its 6-point halftime lead fall to five entering the fourth.
Seth Macintosh played well for CHS in the victory. He ran for three touchdowns.
St. Mary Prep's 
Grant Niemiec played well. The senior running back ran for four touchdowns.
	
SMP came in surrendering 11.8 points per game this season.
The Grand Rapids school (13-1) faces off against St. Mary Prep in a playoff game its next time out. The Eaglets go into the week with a record of 11-2.
