North Broward Prep put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the American Heritage Stallions. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Stallions, too.

Nate Hernandez looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. What's more, he also gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, North Broward Prep's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Evan Stramanak, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

North Broward Prep's victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for American Heritage, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. As for American Heritage, they will take on Boca Raton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
