Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Prep Beats Seaholm for Their Fourth Straight Win

St. Mary's Prep waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Seaholm Maples by a score of 2-0.

St. Mary's Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rayne Altermatt, who had five aces and three digs. With that strong performance, Altermatt is now averaging an impressive 3 aces per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Kapeller, who had nine digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good server: St. Mary's Prep was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive contests.

St. Mary's Prep's victory bumped their record up to 11-6-3. As for Seaholm, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14-2.
