Tennessee came into Monday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Virginia High Bearcats on Monday as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Tennessee was: they took every set by at least 18 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-6, 25-7.

Tennessee found their leader in sophomore Emma Jones, who had eight assists and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Jones. Faith Hayes also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Tennessee was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since the start of last season.

Tennessee's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Virginia High, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-11.

Tennessee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Dobyns-Bennett on the 16th. As for Virginia High, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against John Battle on the 17th.
