There's no place like home for Perry, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Chandler Wolves a 2-0 shutout on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Pumas, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Saydie Herbert and Danica Torres scored both of Perry's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Perry has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those 12 games. As for Chandler, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8-2.

Looking ahead, Perry will host Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Perry surely won't give up without a fight. Chandler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
