With a playoff win on the line, Saint Thomas Aquinas rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Niagara Badgers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 6-5 victory back in May.
Jake Farley and Teagan Anderson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Farley didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Meanwhile, Anderson tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
