Tintic and Wendover are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2021, but not for long. The Miners are taking a road trip to take on the Wildcats at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Tintic lost 3-0 to St. Joseph on Thursday.

While Tintic had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Wendover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against St. Joseph, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14, 25-12.

Tintic's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Wendover, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-18.

Everything went Tintic's way against Wendover when the teams last played back in August, as Tintic made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Miners since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
