Basketball Recap: Avon Gets the Win

Avon entered their tilt with Bridgewater/Emery on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 45-44 W against the Bridgewater/Emery Huskies.

Avon pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bridgewater/Emery, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Looking ahead, Avon will take on Tripp-Delmont/Armour at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bridgewater/Emery, they will face off against Wall at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Wall has three straight victories, Bridgewater/Emery has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
