Baseball Recap: Century Takes a Loss

Century was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-1 to the Madison Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-5 on Tuesday.

Century saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Teague Wheatley, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Century's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Madison, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Century will venture away from home to face off against Preston at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Madison, they will head out to challenge Pocatello at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
