Volleyball Recap: Avalon Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Avalon and Abbott squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Avalon had to settle for second. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in October.

Avalon moved to 24-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Abbott, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season.
