Soccer Recap: Beech Grove Comes Up Short

The Beech Grove Hornets came up short against the Indian Creek Braves on Tuesday, falling 7-1. Beech Grove were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Maycol Ortiz-Sanchez, which was the first he's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Beech Grove and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beech Grove will head out to face off against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Indian Creek, they will venture away from home to take on Edgewood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
