Preview: Skyline Grizzlies vs. Idaho Falls Tigers
After three games on the road, Skyline is heading back home. They will take on the Idaho Falls Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Skyline suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They were beaten by Madison 64-29. Skyline was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-10.
Meanwhile, Idaho Falls came up short against Thunder Ridge on Wednesday and fell 55-47. Idaho Falls has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Idaho Falls' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Bradley Elison, who scored 24 points, and Easton Watkins who scored 12 points. Elison has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played.
Skyline has been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Idaho Falls, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with that loss, which was their eighth straight at home.
Skyline beat Idaho Falls 78-66 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Will Skyline repeat their success, or does Idaho Falls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
